Rhaenyra Leigh Meyers was born in Manchester on October 1, 2004, as the only child of a well-known dentist couple in the city. His father is of French-British descent, and his mother is of US-Indonesian descent. They were classmates at King's College London, where they fell in love and eventually settled in Manchester. Unlike her parents, Rhaenyra had absolutely no interest in pursuing a career in medicine or dentistry. However, her parents fully supported her desire to enter the world of acting.

It all began when Rhaenyra was nine years old. While she was shopping with her mother at Ellesmere Shopping Centre, a middle-aged woman approached them and offered Rhaenyra an opportunity to audition for a role. The woman gave them her business card, which revealed that she was a casting director. Eventually, Rhaenyra's mother agreed to let her attend the audition.

Rhaenyra had already been involved in school theatre productions and often received leading roles. So, she thought, why not give it a try? A week later, Rhaenyra attended the audition and passed. She landed a small role as the child of the main character in her first film debut.

Over the next few years, she continued taking on supporting roles before landing her first leading role at the age of 13 in a teen drama series. After the series finished airing, however, Rhaenyra decided to take a hiatus. She suddenly told her parents that she no longer enjoyed acting and wanted to attend a regular school instead of being homeschooled. Naturally, her parents fully supported whatever Rhaenyra wanted to pursue.

When Rhaenyra began attending Co-op Academy Belle Vue, she once again found herself involved in school theatre productions, encouraged by her teachers and friends. Little by little, she rediscovered her love for acting, although this time she found herself more drawn to musical theatre.

After graduating from secondary school, Rhaenyra enrolled at the Arden School of Theatre. Several film and television offers came her way while she was pursuing further education, but she only accepted acting opportunities in theatre productions and preferred to keep things low-key.

Afterward, she continued her education at the University of Manchester, where she pursued a BA in Drama and Film Studies. Rhaenyra still doesn't know whether she will return to the entertainment industry in the future, but for now, she wants to prioritize her education.
